The buildings on the right were all demolished in the late 1960s/early 1970s to make way for the re-routed A9 Stirling Road, bypassing Falkirk Rd where the tram is running in the earlier picture.

The Red Lion Hotel is now the Tea House Chinese restaurant and the pub on the other corner is now a flat.
